When I was a kid. I learned everything I needed to know in a small brick basement, in the corner of an arts magnet school. This school offered a filmmaking course as early as 6th grade. It was there, the joy of creative experimentation was unlocked and I never looked back. I owe everything to a classroom called … Room 105.

JASON NGUYEN

JASON NGUYEN doesn’t just make content—he engineers cultural moments. A director, writer, and producer based in Los Angeles, he’s spent over 15 years crafting scripted, unscripted, and branded stories that actually land—on time, on budget, and with bite.
His original sketches and digital series have racked up millions of views, proving that sharp storytelling still cuts through the noise. As Creative Director to Will Smith at Westbrook Media, Jason led the charge on viral content that broke the internet (and occasionally the rules), working with icons like Alicia Keys, Jada Smith, P!NK, John Boyega, Liza Koshy, Jason Derulo, and more.
Before that, he was the force behind branded and scripted content at Legendary Digital Networks—powering original series for Nerdist, Geek & Sundry, Amy Poehler’s Smart Girls, and SVOD Alpha. His work hasn’t just made waves—it’s been stamped by AV Club, Vice, The Hollywood Reporter, Slash Film, Time, Variety, and Indiewire.
Jason doesn’t chase trends. He builds them.
